Apart from making products, my wife and I enjoy camping in the Sierras. We have been going there for years now and have taken many fantastic photos. Check them out in the Vacations area on our web site.

1. A High Quality Dry Dog Kibble
We recommend Royal Canin Small Bites Puppy 33 and for your adult dog, Royal Canin Chihuahua 28. Both are custom formulated to provide exactly what your Chihuahua needs for optimum health.

2. A High Quality Canned Dog Food (optional)
Brands we recommend are as follows: Wellness, Nutro, Canidae, Eukanuba, Innova, or ask your vet what they would recommend.

3.Dental Bones and Treats (NEVER GIVE THEM RAWHIDE!!!)
Dental health is crucial with this breed. We recommend the Fido Texas T-Bone and their Naturals line. Their bones are top quality and just the right size for your little Chihuahua. Ask for a flyer or visit www.FidoPets.com

4. Food and Water dishes/bowls
Any shallow small bowl or dish for your little guy/gal!

5.Tube of Nutrical or Karo Syrup
This is extremely important! You have very little time to react if your pup goes into hypoglycemia. Within minutes it can progress into a coma and/or death. Nutrical is a sugary supplement with multivitamins that is easily assimulated into the blood stream.

6. A properly sized Sweater or Coat for Cold Days
Chihuahuas are not cold weather dogs and they will let you know that. Some Chihuahuas prefer not to venture out of doors in the rain and snow. It is very helpful to have your dog paper trained as well as housebroken for these occasions. Often a warm sweater or coat will satisfy your shivering Chihuahua enough to do their business outside.

7. Chew Toys and Squeaky Toys
You will want to teach your Chihuahua to chew where it is appropriate, not on the wall or the legs of your chairs. Most dog toys are designed to satisfy the 'chew' instinct and can keep your puppy active for hours.

8. A good Chihuahua Book
Most pet food chains carry breed books. Also, Amazon.com is a good resource to find informative books on the Chihuahua at discounted prices. This small investment will prove invaluable as there is so much to know about this breed and your Chihuahua can live well into the late teen years.

9. A good fitting HARNESS
Using a harness rather than a collar to walk your Chi will protect his delicate trachea from irrepairable damage.
